Love It

The latest edition to my perfume family. Botol yang ke berapa saya dah tak tau. Lost count. New edition of Acqua DiGio, now became Acqua DiGioia. Smells fresh, and something different from my other collection. Every bottle has its own character. And the best thing is I get 2 vials of Romance. Romance is always my darling perfume, next is Zen. Believe it or not, that Romance is my first perfume bought during my 1st year at USM, and its almost 10 years ago. Quite a history, hehe..

How Do I Know My Perfume is Fake

To all perfume lovers, please take note:

1. It was suggested by many perfume lover on the net that avoid seller who taking the stock from China or Singapore. The Singapore mostly imported from China, so no different to that. This is what mentioned by most of perfume lover from the internet. Buy only from seller who taking their stock from US and Europe.
2. Check the packaging when they ship to you. Make sure there is no perfume brand misspelling. When I was in Teluk Intan, I saw one seller selling Joob! instead of Joop!. I am wondering why Joop! perfume sold for only RM50 per 50ml bottle. After looking carefully, I spotted the 'b' is almost like 'p'. I also found somewhere in Cameron Highland, Armani ---> Arnnani with a very close double 'n'. I saw one somewhere in Shah Alam where Davidoff spelled as Dovidoff. So, please as soon as you receive the perfume, open and see whether there is no misspellings.
3. Most of the perfumes wrapped with cellophane. Even not all perfume designer comes with this cellophane. However, if the cellophane is available, it shall be a thin cellophane. If the cellophane is thick, then it is a fake perfume! See also the glue. This cellophane is also will not be glued on the box!However, some manufacture may put the glue on the box, but with a proper and small scale of glue. If the glue looks like improper, it may be a fake perfume.
4. Code engraved on the bottle of the perfume shall be the same with the code mentioned on the box!
5. Original perfume is always stated with the country of origin. It shall be stated with 'Made in USA or US', 'Made in France', 'Made in Spain' or any of the Europe country. Ensure the plastic sticker fixed under the bottles stating the country made as well as the boxes. Fake perfume normally do not have the origin.
6. The smell shall lasting for more than 24 hours if sprayed on a piece of paper. Fake perfume even last for only 2-3 hours!
7. The spray bottle should be in perfect condition and should not leak, as this indicate that the product was diluted.
8. Upon shaking the bottle the bubbles that are made by the movement should disappear in a span of approximately 10 seconds, after it is shaken, if not, there is a possibility that it is pirated .
9. When you shake the bottle it should not submit any junk, dirt or any other foreign substance. It should only contain liquid.  
10. The other things to check are the bottles. Some will have an original perfume as the sample bottle but if you don't have the box opened for that exact one buying, you can't be really sure. The differences about the bottles will be noticeable for the opaque bottles like that of Polo Black or Polo Explorer. The original bottles for these brands have very smooth and fine surface while the fake ones may be a little jagged or contoured. If the bottles are not opaque, you may need to check the prints painted on the bottles. Most often, they can easily be erased .
11. For the perfume or liquid itself, you need to check if the colors are right. For instance, the Chanel Cristalle may have the same color like yellow/gold with that of Chanel No. 5, which shouldn't be. For Miracle Lancome, it may be too dark pink which shouldn't be. It should be light pink. In checking the quality of the perfume, you will know if it's high in alcohol or oil. If you spray it on your skin, you shouldn't feel the alcohol at all unless it's eau de toilette. There are fake perfumes that are oil-based too so you may want to check the smell if it smells just like the original.  
12. Those three are the major things you need to be aware of in fake designer perfumes, but you can also check the minute details like the caps or materials for the spray mechanism. The plastic that covers the box, it should be a lot tighter if it's the original .
13. Please remember that the perfume set is always expensive from the single bottles. If someone selling set cheaper than its single bottle, it probably a fake perfume set.
14. We have seen same perfume brand and capacity sold for different prices by the same seller, one of it amazingly 50% cheaper than others. After that we have found that the seller imported their perfume from two different countries. We suspect the cheaper is the fake one. Please be careful with seller who sells very cheap perfume.

Seminar Lagi

Semalam petang dalam pukul 6.30, bos saya bagitau ada seminar di PanPac. Dia kata tapi ni macam boring sikit. Sebab lecturer yang present. Saya kata ok. Masa tu saya tak tau lagi seminar tu bila. Bila dia nak balik tu, dia bagitau saya, esok pagi-pagi call KaK Lina (IEM South staff) bagitau dia yang saya akan datang. Saya tanya la dia, kenapa kena call pagi-pagi, kan hari Sabtu. Lepas tu dia kata lagi, ye la, seminar tu esok pagi.

Oo..alkisahnya, kira saya hari ni main terjah aje. Selalu kan kena register nama 2-3 hari sebelum. Takpe la. Majlis ilmu ni, jangan dilepaskan.

Jiran Sebelah

Monday morning. Hujan pagi tadi, jadinya sejuk la hari ni. Tambah la mengantuk. Saya tak tau la apasal Autocad ni asik hang aje. Tak pasal kena restart balik pc. Dari tadi nak buka drawing tapi tak boleh.

Ingat malam tadi nak buat entri baru, tapi dah mengantuk sangat. Jiran sebelah saya ni, malam-malam mengaji al-quran. Memang bagus. Mula-mula perasan ada satu hari tu saya balik dari ofis dalam pukul 8, letak kereta kat tepi rumah diorang. Buka pintu kereta je terus dengar orang mengaji. Dalam hati, ehh bagusnya diorang ni, aku pun tak rajin macam diorang.

Lepas tu selalu lah mendengar ayat-ayat suci waktu malam. Hj Amin tuan rumah kata boys tu duduk tak lama, dalam 3 bulan gitu. Intern kot. Sebab muda-muda lagi. Tapi sejak diorang duduk rumah sebelah, tekanan air jadi rendah. Maghrib dan pagi. Selalu aje tak ada air. Nasib baik ada tong air. Tu la penyelamat. Jadi sekarang kitorang satu rumah tak pernah basuh baju lepas maghrib. Basuh baju pukul 10 ke atas. Kalau tak pun weekend.

Ok. Stori pasal jiran saya dah habis.

Its Friday...

Hari ni ada sesi urut badan. Bagus juga buat entri pasal ni.

Amatlah melegakan. Hilang tekanan.

Dari semalam saya call Wellness Centre tu tapi tak dapat-dapat. Saya plan nak urut semalam, tapi sebab tak dapat call, tunda hari ni. Jadinya tengahari tadi pergi ke Plaza Pelangi, book nak urut. Rupa-rupanya diorang ada lagi satu nombor telefon. Nasib baik dapat buat petang tadi. Sesi pukul 5.30. Kiranya saya client last diorang. Terpaksa keluar ofis awal.

Saya nak buat body massage ni dari minggu lepas lagi. Bahu dan belakang saya memang sakit. Bila bahu saya tegang, saya senang kena sakit kepala. Yang mana 2 biji Panadol la jawabnya. Painkiller banyak sangat, rosak hati, rosak buah pinggang.

Saya punya masseuse (tak tau la betul ke tak ejaan, aka tukang urut) nama Coco. Peramah dan masih cantik. Walaupun dah berumur. Tangan dia memang kuat. Rasa poin-poin yang sakit.

Soalan standard "ini macam ok ka? Mau kuat lagi ka? Atau you mau pelan-pelan"

Jawapan standard saya "ok, just nice, kalau sakit saya bagitau"

Saya suka tanya kat masseuse bila diorang tengah buat badan saya, dah lama kerja ke, dulu kerja mana, belajar massage berapa lama, asal orang mana, dah kahwin ke belum, duduk mana, datang kerja naik apa. Perbualan ringkas la. Tak de la masing-masing macam tunggul. Tapi bila dah mengantuk saya diam aje la.

Yang best hari ni, masseuse saya pakai minyak berlainan untuk setiap badan. Siap pakai minyak dia beli sendiri, sebab tak mau tangan kasar. Untuk badan minyak lain, perut minyak lain, untuk kepala pakai yang aromatic oil. Siap bagi saya rasa jenis-jenis minyak. Ada yang memang oily, ada yang jenis cepat meresap.

Tapi sesi hari ni lain sikit. Coco tanya saya sudah kahwin ke belum. Saya kata belum. Dia kata, tak payah kahwin la. Nanti tak happy. Dia kata lagi, kawan-kawan dia semua ada masalah. Saya tanya kenapa. Dia cakap orang lelaki, dah ada bini, tapi mau cari amoi lagi. Dia kata suami dia pun macam itu. Dia pun tak boleh nak buat apa. Dia pejam mata, buat-buat tak nampak. Dia kata, kawan-kawan dia datang nangis mengadu laki masing-masing ada amoi. Dia cuma boleh kata nasib kita serupa. Dia kata lagi, bukan Cina aje, Melayu pun ramai juga macam tu. Sekarang, anak dia dah besar, dia dah tak kisah dah pasal laki dia, asalkan hati senang.

Tiba-tiba saya teringat kat seseorang yang saya kenal...

Seminar

I'm at Grand Paragon Hotel in JB for a Precast Concrete seminar, and still waiting to start, the comittee is still struggling with the projector. Since I'm not an IEM Graduate member, so my bos have to pay RM70 for me.

Believe it or not after almost 3 years working, this is my 2nd seminar. The first was a talk for Iskandar projects. But then this is my 1st visit at Grand Paragon. Best juga.

And I'm the only lady in this hall so far, for now.

Oo, there's 2 lady coming. Ok la tuh.

Langsir Baru

Nampaknya inilah entri pembuka untuk April. Gila malas. Apasal ntah. Tiba-tiba aje macam tak sedar dah pertengahan April. Kerja dah semakin banyak. But then, good that I'm busy.

Hari Sabtu lepas kitorang beli langsir raya. Walaupun ada beberapa bulan lagi nak raya, tapi persediaan awal. Apa salahnya. Lagipun dapat control bajet. Kalau semua last minit, stress juga. Saya pun tumpang sekaki beli langsir untuk bilik rumah sewa sekali.

Oklah, belek punya belek, saya pilih warna maroon. Corak pun bole tahan menarik, tak ada bunga-bunga. Saya memang suka yang abstrak. Untuk menambahkan cantik lagi saya jahit riben untuk jadi penggantung langsir. Gila rajin. Jahit tangan ok. Hasilnya boleh tahan menarik juga. Take a look.

Langsir putih tu x-housemate saya punya. Sampai dah tak putih jadinya.
